Dear God, I haven’t cried that hard in so long.
First 30 seconds: Already rebloged.

Bring the troops home for Christmas! And to the troops that aren’t home. Thank you.<3 Because of what you do, our freedom is preserved. In April, my dad will retire from 20 years in the U.S. Army. He has deployed to the Middle East four times in those 20 years. I’ve been through these surprise homecomings and I’m thankful that he made it home in one piece each time he was gone. Thank you, Daddy. I love you.
My brother is in the Air Force, and he has been overseas twice. It’s an indescribable feeling to be able to have them standing in front of you again. I could hardly see the screen, I cried so hard.
I don’t care how many times I reblog this, it’s just so beautiful :’)
i couldn’t even watch the whole video without tears blocking my view. :) <3
I cried
i havent cried in a while & this brought me too tears .
Oh My God!!!!! This is so incredibly beautiful!!!
i know exactly how this feels. my dad was in the navy for 8 years. it is hard to grow up without a dad at times. this is the only thing on tumblr that has ever made me actually cry. thank you to all the troops that have risked their lives <3
there’s just something about a soldiers homecoming that makes me cry every time.

Realized that I’m on of the lucky people that doesn’t just want to, but gets to.
But we don’t make fun of people, because that’s mean…
But the rest of it… Yeah.
He’s a keeper:)

In his five short weeks of life, Orbit hasn’t met many other owls.
So he isn’t at all worried that his new best friend doesn’t hoot back.
The orphaned chick is perfectly content in the company of the stuffed bird perched next to him and is never far from his side.
Orbit, a common barn owl, was given the toy by Lyndsey Wood, his carer at Folly Farm, near Narberth in West Wales.
She said: ‘A friend suggested that I find something like a toy owl to stop Orbit feeling lonely.
‘I thought he might try to eat it, but he just cuddles up to it and goes to sleep.’
She’s so sweet:)
